BH Consulting is seeking a sales and marketing executive to help the company to win new business. The successful candidate will work with the Business Development Director and focus on sales and marketing campaigns to help generate brand awareness for the company and increase new business opportunities in its target markets.

Purpose of the role

The successful applicant will work on generating new business opportunities, developing and implementing marketing strategies for the company, and designing and managing marketing campaigns and lead generation activities.

Responsibilities

The role will involve promoting and encouraging new business opportunities. The sales and marketing executive will research and identify key decision makers in SME and mid-sized and large organisations, and actively promote the BH Consulting brand and services to them. As part of the role, the executive will:

  • Attend relevant events and conferences to promote the BH Consulting brand
  • Manage the CRM database
  • Develop marketing campaigns and co-ordinate marketing activities
  • Review and develop customer value propositions
  • Work on branding and marketing collateral
  • Carry out digital marketing and analytics
  • Lead generation
  • Data cleansing
  • Direct marketing
  • Developing and managing a social media strategy
  • Help develop a schedule management system for our team of cybersecurity consultants
  • Meet and exceed all KPIs and revenue targets.

We are looking for applicants who are inherently curious, with a thirst for knowledge and information about current and new customers, propositions, competitors and target markets. Excellent planning abilities, together with project management and prioritisation skills, are especially relevant. In addition, other attributes should include:

Finally, excellent written and verbal communications skills are vital for the role. The successful candidate should be able to use a variety of communications styles, language, and media, appropriate to the team and to other stakeholders, including regular sales and marketing communications.

Education and experience requirements

A third-level qualification in business, sales, marketing or other relevant degree is essential. Applicants should have a minimum of one to two years’ experience in sales and marketing.
