Job Title: Technical Cybersecurity Consultant
Location: Remote (occasional infrequent travel)
Salary: €60k-70k (Plus OTE 15%-25%)
Who are we looking for?
Reporting to the Head of Cybersecurity Practice, you will support the delivery of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) related services to our clients.
Who are you?
- You are already a cyber security professional, ideally but not necessarily with client facing experience. You are a highly motivated, self-starter. You have a proven ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative when required to do so.
- You have developed a broad experience of cybersecurity risk management practices and have a thorough understanding of cybersecurity risk management frameworks, including NIST 800 CSF and ISO 27001 information security standards.
Key responsibilities of the role?
- Deliver cybersecurity GRC related projects to clients, including, internal audits, risk assessments, security maturity assessments and ISO 27001 certification projects.
- Manage client engagements from project assignment to completion.
- Support the development of new service offerings in line with the changing cybersecurity landscape to meet client needs.
- Adopt a culture of continuous professional development to ensure you keep up to date with changing technologies and the threat landscape.
- While this role is not technical in nature, you will be required to develop and maintain a good understanding of key cybersecurity technical concepts to support the delivery of projects.
- Ensure that all BH Consulting clients receive a professional service in line with our company ethos and values
- Ensure a first-class delivery service to clients is delivered on time and within budget.
- Meet/exceed KPIs and revenue targets.
- From time to time, plan and attend relevant events and conferences to promote the BH Consulting brand.
Your core competencies:
- You will ideally be degree qualified, preferably to master’s degree level. Depending on experience, industry specific certification may be considered acceptable .
- Ideally hold one of the following qualifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA or CRISC
- Expert knowledge and experience of cyber-security management frameworks, including ISO 27001 and NIST 800 CSF.
- Have a good understanding of NIS2 and DORA compliance risk management requirements.
- Have a good understanding of risk management standards and practices, including ISO 27005 and ISO 3100.
- Have cybersecurity audit experience.
- Have experience and be comfortable working with non-technical business leaders when implementing cybersecurity initiatives.
- Be comfortable delivering cybersecurity awareness training to large or small audiences.
- Have awareness of key data protection principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, able to use a variety of communications styles, language, and media, to effectively build relationships with key stakeholders.

- Delivery focused – ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Passion and drive – willingness to go that extra mile to achieve a target/objective.

Terms and Conditions
- Right to work required (e.g. visa, citizenship etc).
- Fluency in written and oral English is required.
- While this role is mainly remote, there are some head office and client travel requirements from time to time.
- While office hours are 9am to 5.30pm,(Irish time), Monday to Friday – we operate a fully flexible work day.
