Last year I attended my first COSAC Internetational Computer Security Symposium as a speaker. It was my first time attending COSAC and I found it one of the best conferences on information security I have been to in a long time. I have attended quite a few conferences but COSAC is one of the few that provided me with new insights into the challenges we as security professionals face and also forced me to rethink some of my understanding of various security issues. However, the biggest benefit I found from attending COSAC was the opportunity to meet high quality speakers and attendees during the symposium.
David Lynas, the organiser of COSAC, has kindly offered readers of Security Watch a discounted fee for this year’s symposium which will take place from the 21st to the 25th of September this year. If you book early using this form brian-honan-special-guest.pdf you can recieve up to a €500 discount.
