Apologies for the break in posts over the past week or so.  It has been a very busy time here at BH Consulting which resulted in me having less time than I would like to devote to the blog.

The good news is that there have been some significant things happening.  Firstly, as per my previous post the first Irish Computer Security Incident Response Team, IRISS, was launched.  Already the amount of people subscribing to the service has surpassed our expectations and we are dealing with a number of active incidents reported to us.

Secondly the book that I have been working on has finally gone to the publishers and after a few minor edits it will go to print soon.  Hopefully it will see the light of day early in the New Year.

SANS is also coming to Dublin again in the spring.  This time it will happen in the week leading up to St. Patrick’s day.  So what better reason to come to Dublin, excellent training and celebrate Ireland’s national holiday at the same time.  Lots of background work going on to make this the best SANS Dublin event yet.

So now that those significant events have been achieved I will be posting back here regularly again.
