One of my favourite programs is “The Real Hustle” from the BBC.  This program demonstrates the techniques and tricks that criminals use to swindle or steal people’s money.  The team ran a number of technology related scams and are quite educational and entertaining;

The first shows how easy it is for a criminal to break into a wireless network that is “secured” using the WEP protocol.   It is interesting to note that the program focuses on how the knowledge gained from the victims computer use can be used to commit real crime rather than the often talked about wireless piggybacking;

The next interesting session is on how insecure Bluetooth can be;

 The final one is how your phone can be used to generate revenue for criminals;
